So, I wasn’t imagining things. Eleanor started clicking her tongue yesterday, which reminded me of how she kept rolling her tongue over her new bottom tooth, so I checked. Sure enough, there is the tiniest bit of tooth coming out on the top. Interestingly, It doesn’t seem to be one of the middle teeth, but the one just to her right of the middle ones. Maybe they’ll all come in together. We’ll see.
She slept through the night Wednesday night, and last night she slept until 6:45, so I’ll give her that as a through-the-night night. She also fed herself most of her dinner last night. She had peas, pieces of bread, and some cheese (and then some baby cereal to top it off). She furrowed her brow and worked very deliberately to put each tiny piece in her mouth. It was very cute. I have a video that I’ll try to post soon.
She loves her bath time now, too. I posted a video on Facebook if you haven’t seen it. We let her sit in the water for a bit before we start any washing so she doesn’t get cold and she plays. She has a rubber ducky, some bath books, a washcloth, and a cup and they entertain her quite a bit. She is learning to splash just a little and has started moving more around the tub, which isn’t really a good thing. She seems so skinny now, too. She’s so active I think she’s burning a lot more calories than before. Hopefully she has her daddies metabolism.
Ok, back to work, People. Hugs to all!
Holy cow. I’m the luckiest (long distance) gramma in the world. Two postings. Count them. Two! And both delightful. I love watching little kids learn to eat. They’re so very deliberate in their motions.
Hello,
Thanks for your comment on my blog!
I’m sure things will go well with your deaf patient next month, but feel free to ask me if you have any questions/concerns.
It’s always nice to find a fellow GC online. Btw, Eleanor’s a cutie.
Kelly
It’s crazy watching her grow up. She’s too cute!
